Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ)UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta is a charitable institution that has a vision"Menjadi Unit Pengumpul Zakat (UPZ) dan Pengelola ZIS yang memberikan pelayanan secara transparan, profesional, dan terpercaya". UPZ's mission is (1) Providing UPZ UKT scholarship assistance services to underprivileged students, competitive assistance in writing student final projects, social assistance, and community empowerment in the campus environment as well as natural disaster relief and (2) Managing ZIS funds in a transparent, professional, and reliable manner. Meanwhile, the objectives are: (1) Help ease the burden on the families of UIN Sunan Kalijaga students who are economically disadvantaged and help people who need help and (2) Campaign for awareness of caring for fellow Muslims and fellow human beings.
